When I first responded to getting together at the Pizza Ranch, I thought it was a Friday night. How would everyone fill about getting together earlier since it is a Saturday? I guess I would prefer meeting for lunch. Virginia said they had plans that night, and Katherine & Mike might prefer coming earlier rather than driving in the dark. Just thought maybe we would sit and visit longer if we met earlier too. Roger and I will come no matter what the time is (as long as it isn't storming). This is just an idea and was wondering how others felt. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Peters Party on the Prairie

This past weekend Tim and I hosted a sledding party. The sun never made an appearance, but with 20* weather and no wind it was quite pleasant!

The kids stayed out for quite some time before coming in for hot cocoa, hot chai, popcorn and fish crackers. Good times!

Family gathering

I did check with the Pizza Ranch and we can, and I did, reserve the big room - they would like a count before we come. We don't need to have the count right now but probably about a week before. The room holds 50 people and if we do not have that many, it's fine but others will be able to sit in the room and I said that was okay but we'd all kind of like to be together. The cost is just under $8.00 for seniors, a dollar more for other adults, and 60 cents a year for children under the age of 10.

Family gathering

I was wondering if we (siblings) and of course our children …if they would like to come…would like to get together on February 27 - a Saturday evening - at the Pizza Ranch for supper. They have a biggish room sort of and I don't know if we could "speak" for it or reserve it. Dale had said when he was in the Dakotas in the fall that he and Barb went and really enjoyed it. I've been there a couple of times - they have pizzas, salads, potatoes - mashed or a fried chip, and chicken. We could discuss the options for the summer reunion and possibly get things decided. It would also be an opportunity to just get together and look forward to the end of winter.

Wyoming News

Thought I would share a few pictures with you that I took yesterday. Bob wanted to show me where they went elk hunting this fall. He said that there was some really pretty scenery that he thought I would enjoy. It was a whole day trip, because it takes about three hours to just get there. So we took off yesterday morning and we didn't get back until after dark, but it was a really fun day. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Ann's news

Happy New Year everyone! Well I had 2 weeks off from work and need to return to work on the 4th. Funny how the time goes so quickly. My family enjoyed the soup potluck with everyone and then we got together Saturday, December 26th at Crystal's. Patricia was the only one unable to be there. I spent alot of the last two weeks sewing, made spiderman quilts for the 3 grandsons. Crystal had bought the panels and asked if I would make Kaden a quilt out of them but I cut them apart and have made 3. I hope a few of the pictures show up with this from our get together. And lets all pray for warmer weather, I am getting to old for this cold stuff!!
