More pictures

Here are a couple pictures I took today of Connor and Dakota...........Connor is laying on the floor playing. Dakota and papa Ken are getting ready for a nap, and Dakota wants papa to read her the princess book. They both took a long nap this afternoon, but not Ken. He did get up after reading the book to Dakota. The look on Connors face is very common, he is a very happy little boy, he smiles alot and it is so funny when he starts laughing. You just have to laugh with him. He sounds and looks like Zachary when he starts laughing.

Hope you are all having a good day, and hope you enjoy the week end. It's hard to believe that this is the last week end in March, April is right around the corner.

Roger has had a good birthday so far. A while back we went to a seminar on wills and trusts and decided to hire them. So today we met with our representative and signed our new wills, trusts, and so forth. We then went to the courthouse and transferred our property to be in trust. After this Roger and I went to the cafe for lunch. I thought all this would take about an hour and ended up taking 2 1/2 hours off of work.
I too am enjoying the nice weather we are having. Roger is itching to plant the peas. I told him yesterday we could maybe even plant a few spuds soon. Ah, spring fever!! Hope everyone is doing well.

Greeting to all

Hi Everyone,
First off, why am I the only one posting? This is a family blog......we should all be posting little tid bits about what's happening in your life.
Yesterday was Ken's b'day, so when he got home from work we decided to go for a walk, since the weather was so nice. We walked to Baker's Square since Ken would get a free piece of birthday pie, from there we continued to Best Buy to buy a movie, then back home. It was a long walk, but we really enjoyed it.
It has been really nice getting outside in the mornings with the children, they eat and nap better. And it has been nice seeing the robins flying around, and the flowers starting to grow, we have seen some crocus......makes you really believe that spring is coming.
I have tried several times to plant crocus, but they never grow.......maybe that is why I like seeing them so much.
And last..........Happy Birthday to Roger!!!!!!!! Hope you have a really enjoyable day.

Norrie Ann

Norrie Ann finally decided to join the rest of the family this afternoon......Mom and baby are doing fine. Ken and I were able to stop for a few minutes this evening to see both of them. I had Ken grab the camera so I got a couple shots of her...... I'm sure Nancy will be adding lots of pictures to her blog within the next couple weeks. But for now this will have to do.

Nancy had baby Norrie about 1:30ish this afternoon. She weighted 8 lbs 7 ozs.......that's about all I know. I just talked to Tim for a moment this afternoon, so hopefully will know more later.

Alex's hockey

The hockey season is coming to the end. These are pictures of Alex when his team played Austin a couple weeks ago. Alex is holding the puck he scored a goal with....being a defenseman, Alex has stopped more goals than he has scored, so he was very happy this evening, and since I had the chance to get a picture of him, I did. But when he scored the goal, I'm not sure who was happier, Alex on the ice, or Dad in the stands. It was nice to such a big smile of both of them. Alex has been playing with alot of confidence this year, and it has been really fun to watch him. Alex, you have played awesome in defence this year and we are both so proud of you. Sun, March 7, is Alex's last game for the season, it ends with a trip to Mason City, Iowa. The end of hockey for this year............Now onto baseball. Play hard Alex!!!!

Sat family get together at the Pizza Ranch

Hi,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I had a really good time seeing everyone Sat night at the Pizza Ranch. We really should try and do this more often.
Also wanted to let you know that a little blue mitten with black trim was left on the floor that evening. It is a fleece mitten with black trim at the wrist. I know it was not there when Ken and I went into the room earlier, but was there when we left. I have the mitten at my house if anyone knows who it belongs to, please let me know and I'll try my best to get it to the owner.
