update on Crystal

First I must say nice pictures of the Peter's family on the previous post!  Now on to Crystal.  She is still having alot of back and head pain.  Crystal is going to her regular doctor tomorrow, Thursday and the chiropractor on Friday.  She tried to walk on her treadmill some and could not do it, she got dizzy, sick to her stomach and weak.  Crystal did not go to work yesterday but went in today but did not do much.  Good thing she has a desk job!  Derek has also had back pain since the accident and will also be seeing a doctor tomorrow.  Crystal found out that Tom Cadillac did not send in her loan papers until Tuesday, and  now that the vehicle is totaled, they are refusing the loan.  Not knowing what is all going to happen she did talk to an attorney today, she was told to document everything.  They have not gotten the accident report yet so do not know what the other driver has for insurance or what his statements were for sure.  Derek did not get any ticket, the police did tell Derek that the other guy would get ticketed.  Don't know what all the ticket might cover.. running a stop sign, speeding, not keeping his vehicle under control?  Crystal said her insurance has had the vehicle taken to Viking Collison in Rochester now. Derek and Crystal both said the air bags did not go off during the accident.  We are still thankful neither were hurt worse than they were but please continue to pray for their recovery.

I talked to Sharon tonight, Jody and baby went home today and they did name him Tate Dean.  It was wonderful seeing so many at the family reunion, it was great seeing you all.

The Peters were all together Saturday, May 26, and I think a good time was had by all.  Alex and Henry, the oldest and youngest grandsons.   It was Henry's 3 month day, so we celebrated that along with Spencer's birthday ( and celebrated that Spencer was home with his family).
Good looking boys - aren't they?
Connor was trying to show his Uncle Brian and cousin Henry a few dance moves.  Connor has some great moves - and Uncle Brian was able to pick them right up and do them.  So now sure if Connor is a good teacher or Brian is fast learner!!!
What can I say about these two?   Doesn't that look like trouble?  When Connor and Norrie found the water fountain they decided that it was really a drinking fountain.  I think the pictures say it all.

Baby Boy Danuser

David just called me back, he thought Sharon might make some calls later and that she will be staying at Jody and Dan's tonight with the kids.  Jody and baby are doing well, Dave thought he was born around 3 this afternoon at 8 lbs 4 oz.   David thinks his name is Tate Dean and if I heard him right and have the spelling correct!   Congratulations Jody and Daniel!!

Crystal

I talked to Crystal about 2pm, she said she is not as sore as she thought she would be today.  She said she was on the phone with the insurance quite awhile trying to follow what all they wanted.  I asked if she thought she would work tomorrow and she said she would see how she felt later, sounded alittle depressed or worn out.  Thanks to all for the calls.

Wyoming News

Hello All...

Just wanted to put a post out here letting you know that we won't be making it back for the family reunion this weekend.  Bob is really busy at work and he can't get away right now.  He is on 56 hour weeks and is also pretty pooped.  His truck also needs to go into the shop on Tuesday for some body work.  He was driving to work a couple of weeks ago at about 4:30 in the morning and hit a deer.  He didn't do too much damage, the estimate was a little over $2,800.00, but he sure was mad about it.  Luckily he only hit one cuz he said that there were four on the road in a line across both lanes, he was on the interstate.  I have added a couple of pictures of his truck so you can see where he hit it. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Hello from Wyoming,

Hope this finds everyone well.  I just thought I would post a few pictures to let you know what is going on out here.  I think the weather is finally going to straighten out.  We had a really warm April, but it seems that the weather always turns cold, cloudy, and nasty for the weekends.  We were finally able to get out and get some fishing in over the weekend.  We went up to Hawk Springs and met some friends of ours and spent Mothers Day on the lake.  I can't think of a better way to spend the day.  The weather was gorgeous, warm, sunny, and for once the wind wasn't blowing.  Attaching a few pictures of some of the walleye that we caught.   Bob is holding two of the biggest ones we brought home.  He caught one and I caught the other.  Then we had a bunch of smaller ones.  I think we ended up bringing 13 home.

Family Reunion

Please put on your calendars that family reunion is 2 weeks from today.  Let's pray for a beautiful day!  At sewing day it was mentioned the the Stevens and Tuinstra's have canopy tents, please plan on bringing them if possible.  We can use them for shade or in case it rains.   Also, please bring lawn chairs if you have them (there is not a shelter or any picnic tables).  We will be bringing 2 - 6 foot folding tables to set up outside and some folding chairs that can be left outside.  I will bring some 2 liter bottles of pop and a 5 gallon jug of drink and plastic glasses.  I will roast a turkey for sandwiches.  Barb plans on bringing sloppy joes and Linda is bringing hotdogs.  Mary's are bringing buns.  This is what I have heard so far.  We plan on eating at noon.  Come early and stay as long as you want.  Sharon's family plans on going back to Moorehead on Sunday.  Come and enjoy catching up with family members!
Hope to see alot of you in 2 weeks!

I went to a military sisterhood luncheon today and Michelle and another girl at the table named Leah were interviewed by KTTC, and she should be on the news at 6 (it is now 9:30 p.m.), and at 10 p.m.  If you see this blog you might catch her on the 10 p.m. news.  Mary was also at the luncheon.

Flowers and a Fire

The bleeding heart plants have gotten so big this spring.  And they are so pretty blooming right now.

Our first fire this summer.  Ken said it wasn't very good since the wood was wet, but I thought it looked pretty good.

Ken working on the fire.

It is taking a while to get used to this new blogger look, can't say that I like it.   It is so different that what it used to be.  So hopefully this will publish ok.

Family is COMPLETE AGAIN!

Zachary, Connor, and Dakota are supposed to be napping before daddy arrives home tonight.  The soldiers are expected in Rochester about midnight tonight.   They actually arrived about 11:00pm!!!
We're standing at the Rochester armory waiting....and waiting....because I wanted to make sure we were there with time to spare!   We could see the flashing lights from blocks away - WAY COOL!!!   Police escort to the armory....

3 buses arrived and thankfully Spencer and I were in contact and we knew which bus he was riding in - good thing to know with so many people looking for their soldier.

3 VERY HAPPY (and tired) kids tonight!
