Wyoming News

Well, Christmas Day has come and gone and we are having one heck of a snow storm. I would call it a blizzard. It has been snowing and blowing since Christmas Eve night. James was able to make it out yesterday, but he said that the drive back into town was HORRIBLE. I am just thankful that he make it okay.

Here are a couple of pictures that we took from the kitchen window.

Hope you all had a Merry and Happy Christmas.

Here is a couple pictures of Alex and his game Sunday. I tried to find some good ones of Jordyn at her recital, but they are all sort of far away. Will have to try to get more later.

December News

December is going fast and Christmas is just a few days away, so thought I would update everyone on a few things going on with the Peters' family......The first picture is Zachary on his birthday, he turned 7 this year on the 13th. Shortly after cake and ice cream, Spencer had to leave for Camp Ripley for training. For those of you that don't know it, Spencer will probaby be deployed the summer of 2010. He was gone for a week, I'm sure it was a very long week for Michelle. There was a lot going on that week, but thankfully the snow came before he left.

Later the same day we went to Jordyn's dance recital. She did an awesome job and looked so sweet. She really liked the flowers she got.

A few day later we were at Kasson again for the church program that Zachary and Jordyn was in.....didn't get any good pictures of that.

A couple days later we were in Kasson again for the family party, I had a great time and hope everyone else did. It was great seeing everyone there, so happy so many people could make it.
If anyone has good pictures, please post them.

The next day was another trip to Kasson (on Dec 20th) for Connor's baptism. He was so good during the baptism, he never made a sound, the water over the head didn't bother him abit!!!!!!!!

Before we went to the baptism, we had (wanted to) to make a trip to Owatonna to watch Alex's hockey game. (The team was in a tourney in Owatonna...and we couldn't see the first couple games). Alex is looking great on the ice, and is doing a really good job as defenseman. Since it is a small team (only 12 boys on the team) he is seeing lots of icetime. I'll have to get a good picture of him sometime, or have Heather post one of him.

Next up, Christmas........

If anyone would like to see pictures of Conrad, be sure to check out Nancy's blog, she does an awesome job of letting everyone know what their family is up to.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Christmas Party

Greetings to all,
The party is Sat, not too many days away. So lets all hope for nice weather so we can all get together safely. I talked to Michelle, and she says we have the hall starting at 10 AM until evening. I know some of the families have other activities that they need to attend also, so I'm sure some families will be coming and going during the day, and that is to expected, just plan on stopping at some time and see everyone and too have FUN.
I hope you have been looking and searching for the perfect white elephant gift!!!!!!!!!!! I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone have found this year.
I there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them, or if you have any information that you would like to pass on, please do that also.
Looking forward to seeing everyone sometime Sat..........

Holiday Greetings

The Hayes family party is less than 2 weeks away, I hope everyone is getting excited about it. The gathering will be held the same place as last year. With Spencer being in the military we get a really good price for the Legion Hall (we will be asking everyone to help pay for it again this year.....but $50.00 compared to $100 isn't too bad). It sounds like soup potluck is on the menu again this year........I know Barb said she would bring taco soup......but if everyone would post a possiblity for them, we won't end up with one taco soup and 5 chilis!!!!!!!!!!! Linda, Ann and I will probably be the only ones there with grandchildren.......so Linda and Ann what would you like to do this year? And it does sound like Santa might be visiting again.......sounds good.
So I'm thinking soup potluck with breads and salads, with eating about noonish, and then just have fun all afternoon. If any one has other ideas or suggestions.........shout them out!!!!!!!!!

Wyoming News

Hello Everyone. Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving. Just wanted to let you know that Bob had Lasik surgery on the 2nd. He went in at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon and I took him home around 4:15. He had his follow up appointment on Thursday at 9:10 and was seeing 20/25 already. He has to wear these funny goggles to bed at night to keep him from rubbing his eyes accidentialy in his sleep. They really look funny, he kind of looks like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly. His next appointment is right after the first of the year, and from what we can see now, he won't have to wear glasses or contacts any more. He was really getting sick of wearing those!!
