Just received word that the American Legion Hall in Kasson has been reserved in our name for Sat, Dec 13, mid morning to evening. So lets all get together, celebrate Christmas, family and whatever else you want to celebrate. Lets see all those new babies, how the children have grown.
Start getting those ideas together and lets plan a great celebration!!!!!!!!!

I don't think my first memo went through, but it sounds like a great time on the 13th! Are we doing a potluck and if so, are we asking for certain things or just bring what we would like?

I like the pot luck idea. Any thoughts on doing a "white elephant" gift exchange????

I am fine with everyone bringing what they want for a potluck and each person who wants to participate in a gift exchange to bring something - a white elephant item would be great. We could do a game where we could take away from someone else, ect. I don't know exactly how it would work but I have heard others talk about how fun it is. Ann
I think a White Elephant gift is a great idea! I have played it before at work and we would wrap it to make someone else want what is in the package and a lot of fun is had with it going from person to person. You must have a limit on how many times it can go back and forth, however.

I think music for the kids to dance to would be a great idea. And maybe a Santa bag for the younger kids.....so then we would need to know who is going to be there. Mary
Dean and I and the boys will be there. So, we need a Santa bag for ourselves! ;) Maybe someone should make a list of what dishes we need, and everyone can sign up from there?

It's also the Kasson Old Time Christmas on Main Street on that Saturday! There will be lots happening during the day...
