To All Family Members:
As some of you may know, Gabby and I will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 11th. We are in need of some input from you. Since we will not be able to attend the family reunion scheduled for June, we thought this would be a good time to see if everyone would like to get together for a celebration-potluck on either the 18th or 25th of May.
If you are interested in doing this, Gabby and I would provide the fried chicken and would like those of you who come to bring a dish to pass. You would also need to bring your own beverages. We also need some input on where to have the celebration. Any ideas are welcome.
If you would prefer not to have anything other than the family reunion, that's okay with us, however, we thought it would be a great way to celebrate our special day. If you would prefer not to answer on the blog, please send me an email at barbshayes@charter.net. No gifts are requested - just your presence.

I think that's a big highlight in your lift and needs to be celebrated. Can't really give you an idea for a location other the ones we have already used such as Forestville or the park in lanesboro. I say.... Go for it

Boy, the computer has a mind of its own tonight. Second time, hope it works this time. Whatever date you chose would be great. I am more than willing to bring a dish or two. 45 years together is worth celebrating! Does your church have a hall you could get? Does the rifle range have a hall? May have to use your garage? Maybe the Canton fire hall?

I prefer the 25th....only because Spencer is at AT most of May and will return home late on the 24th. My calendar is open for either day at the moment.

May can be iffy for weather but we can pray hard if you want to have it at a park. Can't Gabby get an American Legion or something at a reasonable price? You could ask Linda to ask for Oronoco - nice playground and a room in case of rainy cool weather.

I am having Linda check those dates in May, and no, Dale cannot get the Stewartville Sportsman's club. There would be nothing for the kids to do there so it would be best not to be there.
My church as so many different activities going on during the day, that Saturdays is usually their get ready for Sunday so that is not possible.
