Greetings

Hello family,
Just a note to say Hi to everyone and see how everyone is doing. There is not much going on around here, just the usual, staying warm, working, trying to have free time to enjoy life. The big news in our house is that Ken and I got a new/different vehicle last week end. It is new to us, but previously owned. It is a blue Subaru Outback. So far, we really like it. Our other car is a 1995, so we thought we should start looking around and see what was out there, before something happened and we needed to buy right now. We still have Nancy's (which is now ours) black Toyota Echo, so if anyone knows of someone that might be interested in a manual trans. car (with a dent in the truck - thanks, Brian) we will be selling it sometime this spring. After we have time to clean it up and get it ready.
Other than that, we have traveled to New Ulm, and Redwood Falls (two different trips) to watch Alex's team play hockey in tournaments. Both tournaments were really good for the team....First Place in Redwood Falls, and Consolidation Champs in New Ulm.
And, of course, now is tax time, so we have been busy getting things ready to do taxes. That's always a fun thing to do!!!!!!! Not!!!!
Lets hear from the rest of you and let us know what you have been up to since Christmas........

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY TO ALL ........
I hear he saw his shadow, so lets all enjoy 6 more weeks of winter.
Mary

Not much going on at my house. I will be leaving for Vegas Friday night the 13th with the gal I take on trips. It is work but a paid vacation too. I have not been to Vegas before but was warned to hang on to my money - that there are alot of purse snatchers. I am sure we will be fine. With all the snow days we have had, it will be good to have alittle more income from this job. Glad to hear this weekend is suppose to be warmer, the wind was sure cold this morning!!

Not much happening at this end of town either. Last week 1/26, my oldest sister, JoAnn passed away, so I made a trip to California for her funeral. Was there for 4 days and now am back in town. The weather while I was there was in the 70's, which was great. Only one day of rain - the last day, so it was great!
