Just wanted to put a post out here letting you know that we won't be making it back for the family reunion this weekend. Bob is really busy at work and he can't get away right now. He is on 56 hour weeks and is also pretty pooped. His truck also needs to go into the shop on Tuesday for some body work. He was driving to work a couple of weeks ago at about 4:30 in the morning and hit a deer. He didn't do too much damage, the estimate was a little over $2,800.00, but he sure was mad about it. Luckily he only hit one cuz he said that there were four on the road in a line across both lanes, he was on the interstate. I have added a couple of pictures of his truck so you can see where he hit it. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Well shoot, just like I asked him a couple of nights ago when he told me he would not make it. Who is going to bring the elk burgers?

Thanks for letting us know you won't be able to make the celebration on Sun. We'll miss you - but now we will have someone to talk about!!!!

Thankfully it was only the truck that was damaged - trucks can be repaired.

Bob says that he doesn't care if you talk about him...but just remember he knows people that are gonna be there. (At least that is what he says.) Hope you guys have a good time. And yes I am glad that only the truck got a few dings. I am just glad that he had his big truck and not his little Sonoma. He usually drives that to work, and it he would have been in that I know if would have totaled the truck, and he might have gotten hurt too.
