Wyoming News
Cheyenne has been hammered with a pretty nasty snow storm for the past three days. It started snowing on Wednesday, and had finally started to clear up today. Bob and I have been "snowed in" since yesterday. The weatherman says that we could have about 20 inches out here in the southeastern rural area of the state, and I believe it. There is snow everywhere. It pretty much snowed all day Wednesday and Thursday. It has quit snowing now, but the winds are picking up so that means it is blowing all over the place. Bob wanted to go antelope hunting today, but all of the roads are still closed, so he can't go. He is hoping to get out tomorrow and go. I am sending you a few pictures of the snow. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Connor update
Just wanted to let everyone know that Michelle was discharged from the hospital today as planned, but Connor was transfered to neo natal unit at St. Mary's Hospital last night (Sat. about 9pm)so Michelle was not able to take him home with her. Saturday mid afternoon they noticed some involuntary movements with Connor and did some testing and decided to transfer him for further testing. All tests have been coming back within normal ranges, or negative (which is what we want), so they still don't know what is/was causing it. Tomorrow (Monday) they will do a MRI and hopefully that will tell they all they need to know and then we will know what is going on. Right now they are telling Michelle they don't know when Connor will be released, but tonight we are at the 24 hour mark, so hopefully we will know more at the 48 hour mark.
Will keep everyone posted

Wyoming News
What has been going on in Wyoming for the past month or so? Well, Bob was working nights for a couple of weeks. He liked it, but I didn't enjoy it much. He had to be at work at 3:30 in the afternoon and he got off at 2:00 am. So, the only time that I got to see him was on the weekends.
He has been hunting on the weekends, but hasn't gotten his deer or elks yet. Work just seems to get in the way of his hunting excursions!! I know that he hates that. I am sending a couple of pictures of him getting ready to go elk hunting this past weekend. He left from work Thursday night, and met some friends up over by Laramie Peak. They hunted hard on Friday and Saturday, but the elk had been pushed over on to some private land and they couldn't get to them. He had the chance to take a small muley buck, but passed it up for something bigger. I think he said that it was only about 60 yards away from him. And, he was sitting in the truck!! He didn't want to shoot and spook any elk that might be in the area.
Next weekend my brother and nephew are coming up and Bob is taking Mikey up to see if the can get him his first elk. That should be fun.
Then pheasant season opens, and Bob is real anxious to get Lacie out in the field to start her hunting career. I will send you pictures of Lacie and Abbie soon.

Shawn's Family
It seems like we have been busy, but it is hard to say with what. Alex is almost done with his first year of school soccer. He is the goalie for the Junior High team and has done a great job. This is his first year playing goalie and has stopped some great shots! It has been a nerve racking year as a mom watching but he is enjoying it, so that is all that matters. He is also gearing up for another season of hockey.
Jordyn has decided that hockey is not for her, but has been enjoying her dance class. She is also in love with Cheerleading. She did a Community Ed class for Cheerleading and got to perform at halftime of the homecoming game. She thought that was the best thing and keeps asking when she can do it again.
Shawn and I have just been busy with work and other things. Shawn is in his busy Boy Scout time and has been keeping busy with that. His temp job with the DOT ends next Tuesday, so it is back to looking for a job for him. So, if anyone knows of anything :)
I will try to remember to post some pics as I have them at home on another computer.

Storlie News
Not much happening at our house. Ryan got a boat last night thanks to his dad, not sure where he plans to store it for the winter. I have done quite a bit of canning this summer/fall so we will not go hunger this winter! The potatoes, carrots, and beets are still in the ground, and there are plenty of green tomatoes out there. With the weather turning colder and wetter, we will have to get done with the garden soon. The boys have had their bow and arrows out, Mark and Ryan have been out looking for deer. The kids all seem to be happy to be in school. Josie reports she "LOVES" school. Jerome is looking forward to starting preschool this month. Nicholas stays with Roger after school until Mark gets off work and 1st grade is going great. Work is still work. We lost benefits and are working short most days - anyone got a good paying, likable job for me? I will be getting off alittle early again Friday as I am rarely done in 8 hours and am not to get overtime. But I am thankful for a job!!
Happy fall to all
