The movie Fireproof is a very good movie. Our church has shown in several times in the last six months.

Talked to Gabby tonight and he said that he and Alan will be heading home on Thursday after they check and collect their traps. I believe they only had about 10 beavers and were hoping to catch a few more tomorrow before heading out.

Mary - talked to Kim last night and she said the coupon you sent me and I sent on to her came up fine and she was able to print. She stopped at an Archivers near hear and picked up my ScorePal, so now I can make a few cards too. She said they have card making classes up there every Saturday and lots of things in between. Will need to get up there for a weekend and do some cardmaking. Barb

Ann says......

Roger and I went to a free movie Sunday afternoon called Fireproof, an area church put in on to be a marriage enrichment. It was very good, not quite what I expected it to be. I recommend it to anyone gets a chance to see this film.
After the show we visited Virginia and Carl for a few hours. Alan stopped by with a turtle for Carl. When Roger went to the bathroom, he looked out of the window and notice the turtle was gone! The wind had picked up and misting while we went out looking for him. Carl located him up by the bar, right in front of their door. It was a nice Sunday with the April showers.
Then on Monday morning one of my coworkers came in early to tell me that another coworker lost her son Saturday. Dylan was only 20 years old and decided live was not worth living. DeeAnn(mom) is having a really tough time, I'm sure the whole family is. Please say a prayer for the Dylan Westby family - I know they need as many prayers as they can get right now to get through this terrible time.
Sending my love to all of you
Ann

Hello Family Members

This is the first time I have used the blog site this way, but while Gabby has gone up north (Brauerville) along with Alan, I get more use of the computer. So, this being said, I've been trying out a few websites.

I have been pretty busy for a Monday, but it seems I get busier every day doing something. Today I started out by leaving the house about 8:45 to go do some volunteer work with my Bundles of Love Group (we needed to pack about 15 bags and then I delivered 6 of them to Public Health here in Rochester and the two other people delivered the rest between then. Then, off to the gym for about half-an-hour on the treadmill. At 11:30 a.m. I met a girl I used to work with for lunch at BB's Pizza.

After that I had to run to the dentist to have my temporary tooth put back on (it came out on Sunday while scrapbooking). After that I came back home for a couple of hours and then to the chiropracter and then to Quality Sewing for some afternoon knitting with a group of gals. I'm going to be like Mary and improve and expand my knitting skills!

At 8 p.m. I left there to go get my hair cut and now I'm home for the evening! Whew, what a day. Tomorrow should be a little slower. Thank goodness. Once the weather straightens out I'll get my garden started and finish the hillside where I'm pulling out all the weeds from the last couple of years. That's it for now.

This past weekend, we took a trip to Wabasha. We visited with some friends and Alex & Jordyn made some new friends. Then we went to the National Eagle Center. It was a lot of fun. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves, especially considering it was an EDUCATIONAL place:) There was a guy there that talked about the history of flags that was very good. There is also a room where they have the Eagles that you can go in to. Jordyn wasn't too sure at first, but once she realized that they weren't going to get her, she kept wanting to go back in! They also did a program where they talked about eagles and then fed one. Lunch that day was a rat. I won't put those pictures on here:) Even Alex had to turn away and i thought I was going to have to take him out of the room (which would have been ok with me..........). I would highly recommend going there to anyone!

Hi

Wow! What a month April has been and we are only in the 3rd week. Erick and I began the month with our annual 3 day convention (Anime Detour). Of course for us it was a 5 day event as we move into the hotel the day before and move out the day after. Every year just before it begins I wonder how we will ever survive the weekend but it always turns out great. Following the convention our nights and weekends have been filled with friends and working around the house. This year we have many home changes planned - I'm sure some will end up being postponned but we have grand ideas. I know for sure we will begin the inside painting projects (i lived with white walls for far too long) and continue to finish the basement studio for Erick. We will begin the larger and more improved garden this year - and hopefully with the help of mom I will try my hand at canning some of those wonderful vegetables I plan to grow.

Had a great time with Mom, Aunt Mary, Nancy, Michelle and my friend Gretchen this past weekend at Scrapbooking. Thanks for all the good laughs and wonderful story sharing. Hope to see as many of you as possible at Aunt Therese's birthday party!

Love to all! Kim

Hello

Hello everyone
Welcome to spring!
What a beautiful week we have had but am praying for April showers.
It has been a busy week at work but I took off Thursday morning for Roger and I to attend Kingslands grandparents day program. Victoria and Nicholas did a great job as did all the kids. After the program we stopped at Subway for lunch. Sharon's sister and brother in law, Helen and Harvey also attend the program and stopped for lunch so we had a little visit with them. Roger has planted the peas and I planted some spinach, broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower seeds. If it stays this warm and we would get some rain, we will probably plant more soon.
Hope you are all enjoying the nice weather.

Spring time

I hope that everyone had a nice Easter. It was sure nice to have the great weather. Unlike last year where if I remember right, the kids were hunting for eggs bundled up in winter coats and about 8 inches of snow! Jordyn has decided that she wanted to try soccer this year, just like her big brother. Last night was her first night and here are some pictures. Alex's first game is Saturday, so I will try to get some pictures and post them next week.

Happy Easter to all

I hope everyone had a good day. The weather here was nice, in fact, it was a beauiful day. The girls had a egg hunt in the back yard for the little ones after church. Michelle's family and Nancy's family was here for lunch. Shawn and family stopped by after church for the egg hunt, and then stopped by for a while in the middle of the afternoon. Tim's mom also joined us for the egg hunt and lunch....she enjoyed spending the day with Conrad. Ann also was here for awhile today....while she was here, Ken, I and Ann were sitting in the back yard just enjoying the day and watching the birds. The birds were very active for a time. We saw robins, yellow finches, house finches, chickadees, cedar waxwings (which I don't remember ever seeing before, and Ann didn't know what they were either.....I had to get the bird book out to see what they were), cardinals, and of course, sparrows. All in all, it was a very good day...........As you can see I got pictures of Michelle's & Shawn's family, but didn't get any of Nancy's ................sorry Nancy

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!  Zach and Dakota have been waiting all week for today, just to search out the plastic eggs that they helped me stuff with candy earlier in the week.   The eggs were hid both high and low around the backyard and Mom and Dad's house.

The kids had a blast finding the 100+ easter eggs that we hid in the backyard at Mom and Dad's house.   Alex volunteered to help Conrad gather eggs!    It was so entertaining seeing the kids run around the yard picking up all the eggs that they could find.
While all 5 cousins were together and dressed so nicely, we got them on the couch for some photos - photo turned out pretty good considering we're working with 5 KIDS!  What a cute bunch they make.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and Happy Easter!

More pictures

Well, as I promised here are more pictures of the puppies. All nine of them are in these pictures. Abbie kept sneaking more in on us when we thought that she was done!!. Mommy and little ones are all doing fine. They are a little fussy tonight because they got their dew claws removed after Bob got home from work today. Mommy was a little fussy about the whole process too.

The Family of Theresa Moser

Sue Schneller 952-435-3537 for any easy questions.

This was everything on the letter, I did call Sue and asked if this was pot-luck and what we could bring. She said the meal is being provided and we need not to bring anything. She also said that someone should be at the town hall if anyone arrives early. If I remember the directions, take the oakdale exit off I90, turn right at the stop sign, go to the next stop sign (should be 12 and 16) take a left to the hall. It is only a mile off the interstate.

p.s. Sue also asked if I knew any addresses of the Dorn Family. So, if possible, I would like to ask either Alan or Virginia to pass this info on to Tom and Joe.

There is not much new in our family. We enjoyed a nice quiet few weeks as we transitioned from one sport to another. Alex starts soccer and spring hockey this week. Jordyn is trying soccer for the first time starting next week. We will see how Ms. Social Butterfly does with that.

Blizzard 2009

Well we were pretty much housebound yesterday. We had a blizzard blow through and it dumped about 12 inches of snow on us yesterday. I think that every road in the county was closed yesterday, and not a lot of them have opened up yet today. I took some pictures yesterday and some more this morning so you could see the drifts that we have out here. I would say that we have them anywhere from three to six feet high around the place. We have six foot chain link fence around the yard so you can use that to judge how deep the drifts are.

Also we are hoping that Abbie has her puppies today. She is due tomorrow and she has been real restless this morning. She is panting real hard, so Bob hopes she will have them pretty soon. I will send you pictures of the puppies when they come.
